If the absolute accuracy is not to your satisfaction, or for any other reason, you can apply an offset to the distance data by following these steps:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
# Place your device coplanar in front of a uniform white target&lt;br /&gt;
# Avoid extreme environmental light conditions or avoid light completely&lt;br /&gt;
# Plug the TIM power and USB cable&lt;br /&gt;
# Set the desired modulation frequency at which the device should be calibrated.&lt;br /&gt;
# Set the offset to zero: Use the SDK command &amp;#039;SetOffset&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;
# Adjust the integration time in order to have an amplitude of approximately 3000 in the center of the image&lt;br /&gt;
# Average over at least 50 frames to reduce the noise.&lt;br /&gt;
# Substract that averaged value from the real distance measured from the camera to the uniform white target&lt;br /&gt;
# The given offset can now be applied using the SDK command &amp;#039;SetOffset&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;
